Delete your Ayumu account

You can delete your Ayumu account and everything in it at any time, from inside the app. You do not need to email anyone or wait for approval.

From the app

  1. Open Ayumu and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to Profile (bottom right).
  3. Scroll to DATA and tap Delete account.
  4. Enter your password to confirm.
This is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way for us to restore an account once it is gone. If you only want to stop the reminders, turn them off in Profile → Notifications instead.

If you cannot open the app

If you have lost your phone or can no longer sign in, email hello@ayumu.app from the address you registered with and ask us to delete the account. We will confirm within 30 days. We can only act on a request from the registered email address — otherwise anyone could delete someone else's account.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes every record tied to it:

Cheers you sent stay in your friends' in-app notices, shown as from "A friend", until they expire after 30 days.

Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not on our servers. Deleting your account or signing out cancels them and clears what Ayumu stored on the device.
